Kate has recently returned from Queensland where she was a member of the Firebirds and next year will again be playing for the Adelaide Thunderbirds having previously played for her local team from 2011-2016 winning the premiership in 2013.

She grew up playing netball with her sister at the Parafield Gardens Recreational Centre before moving onto Priceline Stadium and playing for the Contax Netball Club.

In 2010 after graduating from High School she moved to Canberra to the Australian Institute of Sport to further develop her skills.

She has also been in the Australian 21/U team and represented her country in New Zealand, Jamaica, Malaysia, South Africa, and at the World Youth Cup in Glasgow where she was Vice Captain.

In 2013, 2014, and 2015 she represented Australia in the Fast 5 competition in New Zealand.

Kate is studying at the University of Adelaide to become a teacher, and believes in giving back to the community as an ambassador for the Salisbury Council promoting and running netball clinics and holding the position as Head Coach for the Salisbury Academy Netball program.
