A former student at Adelaide’s Sacred Heart College, and then the Pepperdine University in California USA Tamie turned a professional golfer in 2000 and won the Lucent Technologies Hewlett-Packard FUTURES Classic in her first year.

She won the Fujisankei Ladies Classic on the Japanese LPGA in 2009 and finished in the top-10 a further five times in the same year.

Her best finish in Australia has been equal second in the 2009 ANZ Ladies Masters.

As an amateur Tamie’s successes included victory in the 1995 Australian Junior Championship, while in 1996 she won the South Australian Ladies Championship, the Tasmanian 72-Hole Stroke play Championship, and was runner-up in the Australian Ladies Championship.

She has also been a member of the Australian World Cup Team and a member of the South Australian State Team.

Tamie credits the late Ross Herbert Head Coach at the AIS Golf Program, and her parents Russell and Veronica as having most influence on her career
